Bliss FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions

Now that we are down to the last 5 weeks before the Bliss charter on board the Celebrity Silhouette, it's time to go over some last minute details and answer some questions you may have.

1. Can I Check-In Online?

Yes. To make the check-in process run more smoothly, we ask that you do so at least 72 hours before sail time. Please visit the Celebrity website and click the Online Check-In link in the upper right hand corner of the website.

Please complete the online check-in as soon as possible. Make sure to check the spelling of your name and let us know if there are any spelling mistakes or if something does not match with what's on your passport.

Luggage tags can also be ordered when checking-in if you live in the U.S. or Canada . If you didn't order them at that time, luggage tags will also be available at any of the pre-cruise hotels.

2. What if I Don't Check-In Online?

If you do not check-in online, you will be required to do so at the pier at least 2 hours prior to sail time.

3. Where is the Port Located?

Port Everglades: 1850 Eller Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316

4. How do I get to the Port from Fort Lauderdale Airport?

The Fort Lauderdale Port, or Port Everglades, is accessible by car, taxi, bus and rail. Also, if you are staying at any of the pre-cruise hotels, they can arrange for transportation services to the port at an additional cost.

5. What do I Need to get through Security Checkpoints?

To enter the port, all cruise passengers must present a government-issued photo ID, such as a drivers license or passport as well as cruise documents.

6. Is there Parking?

The guest parking facilities are located adjacent to the terminals at the Mid-Port and North-Port parking garages. The parking fee is $15/day for regular sized vehicles and $19/day for over sized.

7. How Soon can I Board the Ship?

The boarding time is specified on your Guest Vacation document, but we suggest that you arrive at the port by noon on the sail date. Get on board and explore the impressive features this magnificent ship has to offer (it is 1,100 feet long with 15 decks). Find out where the 5 play areas will be, visit the specialty restaurants or Celebrity's iconic Lawn Club. Eat, drink, socialize with other couples and get ready for the best lifestyle cruise of the year.

8. Where Do I Go If I Already Checked-In Online?

If you’re all set with a SetSail Pass and your bags are tagged, look for the SetSail Pass designated areas and present your documents for validation to board the ship and begin enjoying your cruise.

9. What if I Have Questions on the Ship?

Visit the Bliss Help Desk on Deck 3 or ask someone from the Bliss Team. They have all been specially trained on all parts of the ship to help take care of your needs.

10. Does the Ship Have High Speed Internet?

Yes, while coming to play, we know that some of you will still be doing a little work. There are 2 options available to stay connected while on the cruise ship for an additional charge. There is Wireless Internet Access (Wi-Fi) and Internet Cafés/Work Stations. The Internet speed has improved dramatically over the past couple years.

11. Can I Bring my Own Liquor from Home On Board the Ship?

No hard liquor, beer or other non-alcoholic drinks are allowed on board from outside the ship.

12. How Can We Order/Reserve Drink Packages, Excursions, Restaurants, Internet, Spa?

With your reservation number, everything can be ordered in advance -- it makes no sense standing in line on the ship. Have peace of mind that with a few clicks of the mouse, your orders will be in place and waiting on board.

13. What Items are Not Allowed On Board?

Illegal narcotics, weapons or anything that could endanger the safety of other passengers on board the cruise ship.

Don't Forget to Bring a Friend

Bring your friends to the party and while your at it, bring them to dinner as well. It's all part of our "Friends with Benefits" deal. Bring along 2 new couples that book the Silhouette and we'll pay the cover charge at one of the Specialty Restaurants of your choice.

Get ready for the six of you to dine together on us. We'll even prioritize your seating time.
