Don't Miss the Updated Oasis of the Seas
It’s Happening -- Oasis Revamp Underway

As predicted, the Oasis of the Seas has arrived at the Navantia shipyard in Cadiz, Spain to begin her $165 million Royal Amplification drydock. The ship will be transformed over a period of two months in Spain, debuting in Miami in late November. This is exciting news for Bliss Cruise passengers who will benefit from so many amenities making way to the ship.

Additions include the "Ultimate Abyss" which is the tallest slide at sea; "The Perfect Storm" trio of waterslides; a reimagined Caribbean pool deck; and much more.

Debuting alongside this lineup is the cruise line’s first barbecue concept called "Portside BBQ," and a dedicated karaoke venue named "Spotlight Karaoke."

Don't miss out on all the new updates to the Oasis of the Seas.

Super-Sized Parties - Each Day & Night

With seven distinct neighborhoods, two dozen eateries and 16+ decks of recreation and activities, the Bliss charter on this Oasis-class ship has more entertainment than most people can handle in a week. Want to give it a try?

  • A variety of shows, including Aqua Theater high diving, comedy, ice rink revues and the Broadway musical "Cats" (advance booking necessary -- booked passengers will receive information on reservation procedure)
  • Continuous, free daytime activities such as adult icebreakers, pub games, ice skating, day and night pool parties, dance classes and other similar activities inside such as numerous Meet & Greets and play time for all s*xually adventurous couples
  • Lots to do outside with a water park, several pools, rock climbing, mini-golf, surf simulators and even a zipline at sea
  • Nightlife all over the ship including live music and a bar scene for every taste, as well as an active casino and the largest after-parties ever showcased on Bliss Cruise
Oasis of the Seas is on high adrenaline constantly; it's a ship where you can begin the day with exercise classes at dawn and boogie down until way past midnight. The bulk of Oasis of the Seas' live entertainment takes place in the Entertainment Zone on Deck 4.

Select shows: keep in mind that none of the ship's venues can accommodate everyone who wants to see a show; so if your heart is set on seeing some of the entertainment, you'll have to book before getting on board.

If you didn't plan ahead, try to make reservations with Guest Services either in person or over the phone, or show up at the venue at least 15 minutes before showtime to see if there is availability. Comedy lovers will also want to book shows, as it's one of the first venues to fill up in advance.

Oasis of the Seas Bars and Lounges

Bars are hopping on Oasis of the Seas, and the ship does a brisk business in drink packages. Bar highlights include:

Bionic Bar (Deck 4): Meet two robotic bartenders that know how to shake up your night out. They can mix, muddle, and stir it up too. With moves as fluid as the Pimm’s in your cup, they can create an almost endless combination of cocktails, whether it’s a classic Manhattan or a custom order of your own design. Just order by app on the nearby tablets and watch your bionic mixologist do its thing.

Blaze (Deck 4): The ship's club, which focuses on hip-hop and modern dance music, can get packed with people prepped to "par-tay." Plan your night right. The space opens each night at 11:00pm

Jazz on 4 (Deck 4): This jazz club is a must for live music fans and will feature live performances each evening that will include an additional jazz band brought on by Bliss Cruise. It's a nice place to listen to music without feeling too overwhelmed, and makes for a great connection zone for before and after dinner cocktails. Make sure you stop by this classy location and "Jazz it Up"...

Boleros (Deck 5): Live Latin music and a location in the heart of the ship means that this club feels energetic, always has a s*xy crowd, and is never short on fun. Since Oasis draws many international passengers who love to dance, be prepared to be impressed by fancy footwork too.

Karaoke Bar (Deck 5): Coming soon -- a dizzying array of TVs on the outside of this Royal Promenade bar marks this as singing central for the onboard crowd.

Rising Tide Bar (Deck 5): Patrons board this hydraulic space on Deck 5 in the busy Royal Promenade to drink and socialize as the platform slowly rises to Deck 8's Central Park and back down again. Do it once for the novelty.

Schooner Bar (Deck 6): Tucked up in a corner of the Royal Promenade, the Schooner Bar does double duty. During the day, it's home to numerous adult seminars. At night, it's a piano bar where passengers indulge in classic cocktails while singing along.

Dazzles (Deck 8) Soon to be Music Hall: Perhaps one of the biggest transformations on Oasis of the Seas is the addition of the Music Hall. One of our favorite venues on the Quantum-class ships, this venue rock literally.

Brand New Outdoor Experiences

Perhaps some of the biggest changes coming to Oasis of the Seas will be the outdoor areas. As many suspected, the ship will be receiving the 10-story "Ultimate Abyss." This slide is now a staple on other Oasis-class ships.

For those who are not courageous enough to brave the over 150 foot drop on the Ultimate Abyss, Oasis of the Seas will be getting the trio of water slides known as the "Perfect Storm." Also found on other ships in this class, cruisers can get wet and wild as they plunge down these multi-deck water slides, known as "Typhoon," "Cyclone," and "Supercell."

Similar to the recently updated Navigator of the Seas, Oasis of the Seas will have a brand new Caribbean-inspired pool deck. To spruce up the current pool deck, the ship will receive some new lounge areas, including comfy casitas, daybeds, hammocks, and swing seats.

While the spiced-up pool area is sure to be popular, the main attraction will be the Lime & Coconut. This two-story, signature bar will be one of the liveliest spots on board the ship. Home to popular cocktails, DJs, and live music, it will be the place to hang out both day and night.

The remaining pool deck will receive some additional updates, with new whirlpools coming to Deck 15.
